On 27th April 2008 a reunion was held at Parmoor House in Buckinghamshire, to mark
the 70th anniversary of the wedding of King Zog and Queen Geraldine.
It was attended by about 80 people, mainly locals from Frieth and Lane End who had memories of the court of King Zog during the war, but also British and Albanian friends of the royal family. Five people came who were over 90 years old.
The Albanian royal family was represented by Westrow Cooper, great-nephew of King Zog; and Skender Zogu, nephew of King Zog.
